Engineered and shipped production web features and AI workflows, collaborating across teams to deliver high-scale interactive client campaigns and internal operational tools.

Achievements

  • Shipped production React features for an interactive Singapore Tourism Board campaign, collaborating with designers and engineers to deliver a web experience serving ~20k daily users.
  • Used React Profiler and Playwright to isolate excessive re-renders, then localized selectors, memoized components, and debounced input events to reduce React commit time by ~30% on interaction-heavy screens.
  • Engineered an AI-powered Telegram bot backend with Python, FastAPI and aiogram, orchestrating structured AI workflows with source-grounded retrieval, safety/PII guardrails, stateful conversations and automated tests for reliable production operation.
  • Initiated and developed an internal OpenClaw workflow platform integrating Lark and Telegram, enabling sales and operations teams to coordinate and monitor workflows, improving operational efficiency.

  • Building a location-aware food discovery platform to help users discover dishes, stalls, and food centers through personalized recommendations.
  • Leading end-to-end product and engineering development, from system architecture to backend services and frontend design.
  • Designing core product features including search, AI recommendation systems, and location-based discovery.
  • Conducted user testing with around 10 early users, driving rapid iterations to validate problem-solution fit.

Architected and launched full-stack internal and client-facing systems, combining product delivery, automation, and infrastructure work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Achievements

  • Architected and shipped a full-stack sales funnel system using Svelte, Cloudflare Workers, and Supabase, routing inbound users through lead-capture, validation, and follow-up workflows.
  • Increased inbound leads by around 300% through landing-page funnel improvements and automated follow-up infrastructure.
  • Engineered an OpenCV QA classifier using image preprocessing, feature extraction, and rule-based classification, reducing manual review effort by around 80% across 2000+ images.
  • Implemented authentication, protected routes, and credit-based usage controls with Supabase/PostgreSQL across user sessions and paid feature boundaries.
  • Built LLM workflow guardrails with typed prompt templates, schema validation, retry/fallback handling, and response-format checks to reduce malformed outputs in production workflows.
  • Wrote technical documentation, API specs, system diagrams, and UAT test cases to support faster handoff and testing.

I was trying to learn Chinese by playing a game in Chinese. I got tired of having to constantly look things up, so I built a real-time translator for it.

I saw value in it, decided to publish it, and somehow, 700+ people downloaded it.

NUS Module Planning & Timetable Coordination

Planning NUS modules always felt like juggling multiple tabs and manually checking for schedule clashes.

I wanted one clean workspace to search modules, lock preferred slots, and plan future semesters.

So I built a full-stack timetable planner backed by real NUSMods data.
